Some of my friends have enjoyed ticking off ‘1001 films’ and having 40 writers should get around the problem you can see in Protz’s book that it’s biased to where his tastes and knowledge lie. I still haven’t finished all the beer books I got for xmas so maybe it’s one for next xmas.

I don't need to guide to getting pissed though, I can manged that quite well already.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13844169940650659196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558050635605413616.post-56194326665523572832010-02-05T11:32:59.115+00:002010-02-05T11:32:59.115+00:00"Lout - A User's Guide""Lout - A User's Guide"ZakAveryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01794154105596597019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558050635605413616.post-40854303424996172902010-02-05T10:41:49.546+00:002010-02-05T10:41:49.546+00:00Cooking, I reckon you want to try one of the upmar...Cooking, I reckon you want to try one of the upmarket ones, try Martin Amis’s, after all they might want a bestseller now that young Amis has gone off the boil.Adrian Tierney-Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05421802854011395300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558050635605413616.post-24171069084355602602010-02-05T10:29:14.307+00:002010-02-05T10:29:14.307+00:00I'm already writing it, Ade. And like Zak (one of the writers) I’ve got thoguths for a non list book, but for the moment will content with feature writing (non list).
Cooking — most definitely, I can see it now on the shelves at Tesco’s.Adrian Tierney-Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05421802854011395300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558050635605413616.post-21218087420615969742010-02-05T09:31:59.603+00:002010-02-05T09:31:59.603+00:00I reckon there's a market for a cooking lager ...I reckon there's a market for a cooking lager omnibus.Cooking Lagerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02830924433230427226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558050635605413616.post-80959602525969385352010-02-04T21:27:30.678+00:002010-02-04T21:27:30.678+00:00You're quite right of course, and I'm curr...You're quite right of course, and I'm currently working on a pitch for a book about beer that isn't a list book. Whether a publisher will understand it is another matter.ZakAveryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01794154105596597019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558050635605413616.post-15060338840674432202010-02-04T21:23:49.142+00:002010-02-04T21:23:49.142+00:00It's a crowded old market for sure. The idea does seem a bit copy cattish whatever way you look at it, though your idea might be a winner.Tandlemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06804499573827044693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558050635605413616.post-35135023313244684842010-02-04T20:54:49.580+00:002010-02-04T20:54:49.580+00:00And don't forget A Beer a Day by Jeff Evans :-...And don't forget A Beer a Day by Jeff Evans :-)Curmudgeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02558747878308766840noreply@blogger.com
