One for the theologians
Having managed to drink a light mild AND a dark mile on the last day BEFORE May I wonder if this might be taken into account in the beery month of obligation?
Roman Catholics can now celebrate Christmas with a "Mass During the Night" which is before actual the Christmas day, so I think you're on solid theological grounds.
It's a NO from me, Ed. Mild May is the property of CAMRA and mild cannot be consumed outside May without their permission and must be recorded on a collector card.
I have to accept you're probably right. Drinking Real Ale is a spiritual matter and in my heart of hearts I know that trying to make something count on a technicality doesn't seem right.

ReplyDeleteYes, and last mass on Saturday counts as Sunday so my pints might be valid.
